Deb Riechmann of The Associated Press recently reported that Vice President Dick Cheney travels with a green duffel bag full of nonfiction books about military campaigns and political affairs. He was spotted currently reading Rick Atkinson’s “The Day of Battle” about the army’s campaign to capture Sicily and Mainland Italy during World War II. Isn’t this a bit like the Spears family reading only memoirs about dysfunctional families?
