‘How To Live’ Is Elderly Advice Worth Reading

Any book that takes the advice of a Lutheran pastor who thinks napping is a form of prayer is one that has my attention.  Apparently, Publisher’s Weekly feels the same way I do by declaring Henry Alford’s “HOW TO LIVE: A Search for Wisdom from Old People  (While they are still on this earth)” one of the best books of 2008.  Time magazine just ran a rave review and library holds are heavy for this apparently humorous look at living on the far side of 70.
