The city of New York plays as big a part of the story line as do its two main characters. In a nutshell: this is about the relationship of two sisters, one famous (think Katie Couric) and the other, a social worker in the Bronx who narrates the story. Famous sister self implodes one morning on ‘live’ tv which causes a domino-like effect to happen to everyone close to her. This book is vacation reading at its best. Colorful characters that are easy to get involved with right from the get go.
