The main character is elderly & in assisted living & part of the book is about his life right now, but the main story is about his experiences as a young man working for a traveling circus during the Great Depression. Its fascinating & a book I hated to see end.

I also loved this book. Didn’t want it to end!
A friend passed this book along to me while we were vacationing together. A wonderful read. I have recommended this book more times than I can remember. 5 stars!
I loved it. My husband even read it and felt the same. And lots of times, we read totally different books. I think the history and the story hooked him.
