I usually only blog about movies that are adaptations of a book I’ve read and liked. I’m taking artistic license by recommending a wonderful French movie with a literary theme written by the prolific director Claude Lelouch that I saw this past weekend. “Roman De Gare”, roughly translated “airport novel”, is a fun romp set in Burgundy that The New York Times describes as a thriller, a murder mystery and a somewhat self-conscious literary puzzle… Actor Dominique Pinon steals the show as you try to figure out if he is a run away husband, ghost writer to a famous author, or serial killer on the loose.
