This book of early America, an Indian tribe and a Presidential agreement regarding white women being given to an Indian tribe in exchange for horses. It was very well written, you could visualize the countryside the peoples, their feelings. It is a story that could have happened.

I loved this book! Set in London in 1862 about an orphan girl raised among thieves known as fingersmiths. It’s a long, sordid tale that will shock and surprise you. Buckle your seat belt and enjoy the ride.
